Meet Jeff and Seanan. These two came by last month and picked up a couple Salsa Vayas and outfitted them for touring with Salsa and Surly racks and full sets of Arkel bags. Obbvoisuly we appreciate their business but the reason I’m putting them up here is that they were so stoked. They’re riding together across the country, and possibly continuing on to points unknown in South America. No set itenerary, just adventure.
Maybe you think to yourself that there’s no way you could get out on this kind of adventure, and maybe you can’t at this point in your life. But that doensn’t mean you shouldn’t go ride your bike a long way this weekend, or next, and maybe take some camping gear and make your journey a little longer. And then think about when in your life you might be able to get out on the bike for a month or three. I promise it’s a good time and that you will learn about yourself, your riding partner and the places you ride. Just think about it, and wish good luck to riders like Jeff and Seanan as they go about their adventures.
