If you commute, tour or road ride, you probably spend more than 200 hours a year in the saddle. We can make those hours more enjoyable with a pro Sizing and Setup or a full Body Geometry custom fit.
Sizing and Setup- $60: is the same service that people get when they buy their bike from us. We set your saddle height, fore-aft and handlebar positions to the proper places, and will take the time to examine your bar/control setup. We assess whether your bars, brake levers and shifters are all set up in the proper place. Sizing takes about 45 mintures-1 hour plus any time needed to install new parts. Body Geometry Fitting- $150*: If you want to ensure your comfort and efficiency on the bike, there is no substitute for a Body Geometry fit. One of our BG-trained fitters will spend time with you discussing your cycling history and goals and then perform a variety of assessments of your range of motion and physical build- before you even get on the bike. The fitter will then apply their findings to your bicycle, making the necessary adjustments to place your saddle, bars/controls and your pedal cleats in precisely the right place for you. The BG fit was developed by Specialized Bicycles and the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine and is one of the most comprehensive fitting programs in the world, constantly applying new data and feedback from amateur and professional athletes to the fitting process.
Nick Wood has been fitting riders for more than 11 years, and has worked with everyday riders, long-distance athletes and racers competing on an international basis. He has studied numerous theories of fit in addition to being a BG trained fitter.
