So you know, not all the custom bikes we build are from Surly. Say for example, you want a sweet Mixte frame for getting around town and maybe using for kid-hauling duty at some point? That’s just what we built here for customer M.
Behold… the Soma Buena Vista 650b 1×10 city bike. 
33mm tires make for an extra-cushy ride.
M. Wanted a smoooooth ride, so we went with the Soma Buena Vista frame with skinny-tubed Tange Prestige steel frame, and paired it with a set of 650b wheels that just fit the long-reach brakes, even though the frame was designed around 700c wheels.
1×10 drivetrain for simplicity and wide range.
We set it up with a mid-range Shimano mountain bike drivetrain for hill-conquering durability.
A Brooks B67s saddle matches nicely with ergonomic and stylin’ PDW Whiskey grips.
