Brian sent over this video he did with Black Cat bicycles. Black Cat came up with an ingenious sliding drop out idea a couple of years ago that is just starting to get copied in the handmade industry, hey its how we grow, am I right. Black Cat bicycles are lookers and seem functional to boot, and from the tone of this video it just the right bicycle to climb your way up the ladder to Nirvana. Oh these also did a cool project on the way out to NAHBS, as they say in the hip parlance of our collective digital time, Swoop here

BIKE RAD(AR)

by Kyle on February 26, 2011 · 1 comment

If you had a visit to Bike Radar this morning you couldn’t help but notice that our humble little shop’s website is featured as the Website of the Week. As level headed and demure as we are here at 21st we must admit that this gets us a wee bit pumped. Read the article here. It goes on about how bad ass we are at what ever it is that we do and that if we were public service officials we would probably be partying in a little house painted white. True as that may be it is also true that we love what we do, and that we get to share that love with the likes of you lot is truly what keeps us motivated. Thanks for watching, come by, come buy, let us fix your bike, and share some stories.

Hearts,
21st

PS. I would like to note that although Atlin was not featured heavily in the article he is a heavy weight in our creative process.*

*he is holding his favorite dragon slayer collectible knife to my kidney as I write this, his knife

I am pretty sure this is the same knife, I found this photo on the internet.

Friends, it is cold out side, real talk.

To celebrate the cold we put together something special to remind you of those long tranquil summer days spent relaxing at the lake.

I am going to let you in on a little secret.

The gang here at 21st is helping to organize the fist annual Sandy Ridge Spring Brake Super D series.

I kid, we don’t want this to be a secret, we want monks on the Tibetan Steppe talking about this, spread the word, pass it on, high fivers.

What is Super D? I am glad you asked. Lets try a metaphor shall we? Super D is discovering a diamond waterfall while drinking your favorite blended cocktail on an endless thrill ride through the greatest dream of your life. Real Talk? Super D is Mountain Bike Racing focusing on the best part of Mountain Biking, descending. I am sure there are a few of you out there thinking, ” I like to climb, I am into the pain and suffering of epic ascents.” Hey if climbing is your bag, don’t sweat it, 15-20% of a typical Super D course is climbing. Apply your skills there, crush the climbs and build up a lead for those pesky downhill sections. Right so as you can see Super D offers something for everyone.

Right so let your fingers type you over to the official blogger blogspot of the race. HERE http://sandyridgespringbrake.blogspot.com/

OMG OMG OMG

…. and then I thought of that old saying “moment on the lips, lifetime of guilt knowing I ate a canned mythological creature”.

Folks we have been busy. Real Real Real Busy. While you may think that the doldrums of winter would reduce our work load this is not the case. It is true that the rain has a tendency to discourage a few riders. While most people, the slackers and the sloth would drift into a cold complacency, as true hard working Americans we take this extra time to produce amazing and engaging internet content to entertain our customers. Plus we like to laugh, we like to laugh as much as possible.

So laugh with us

I’m laugh now
