Unusual these days, I spent a week road touring up in “Beautiful” British Columbia on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. It was a great change of pace and touring in this area is highly recommended.
I don’t have a GPS map for the route, but I rode from Victoria up along the inside coast of Vancouver Island to Comox with detours to Saltspring, Denman and Hornby Islands. After a quick ferry across to Powell River on the mainland, I rode the Sunshine Coast back to Vancouver. Another ferry and short ride and I was back in Victoria. The route is (mostly) really really good and recommended in the summers when the weather is bluebird.
