21st Avenue Bicycles specializes in road bike sales, service and repairs. Located in NW Portland, Oregon, the shop can help you find the perfect bike for your ride. Bike commuting, road biking, racing or the casual cruise.

Not Bikes

We are a small shop, so every product we stock has to meet with our approval. Our selection of parts, accessories and clothing is all stuff we recommend.

ABUS

German lock maker, originators of the “folding lock.”

Arkel

Solid touring bags from Canada

Brooks

The legendary makers of leather saddles have stepped into the 21st century with a great line of waterproof saddles and bicycle bags

B&M

Busch and Meuller makes the best array of dynamo headlights and tallights on the market.

Burley

Trailers for kids, dogs and cargo as well as tag along bikes, all designed in Eugene. We stock children’s trailers but are glad to special order anything from them.

Chris King

The original, the best, headsets hubs bottom brackets made here in Portland since 2005.

DT Swiss

Our standard spokes and nipple for custom wheel builds, DT also makes some of our favorite hubs.

Giro

Gloves, shoes and clothing with style and performance in equal measure.

H+Son

Rims and only rims, but they’re some of our faves for handbuilt wheels.

King Cage

Not Chris King, but handmade in Durango by eccentric old mountain bike riders. Forget carbon fiber and roll with a Ti cage for the next 40 years. Also sweet steel cages and whatnots.

Knog

Compact and powerful lights from some weirdo Aussies.

On Guard

Solid and reliable locks that come with 5(!) keys.

Ortleib

Reliable touring gear from reliable Germans

North St. Bags

A Portland success story, we’ve been with them since a regular said “check out my bag!” back in 2012. Handmade and made awesome in SE Portland.

Portland Design Works (PDW)

We go back with these fine folks to the early days of their enterprise, designing functional and stylin’’ gear for commuters. Simply put, their stuff never disappoints.

Revelate Designs

Eric and co in Alaska have been making bikepacking bags since before you even knew that was a thing. Unless you go custom, there is simply nothing better.

SKS Germany

We love a good fender, and SKS is our go-to option.

SIM-Works

A Japanese bike shop that distributes awesome stuff made by Nitto, Honjo and other brands from Japan. Beautiful, functional and not too spendy.

Specialized

Not just bikes. Comfy gloves, shoes, saddles and clothing as well as some of the better tires on the market.

Serfas

We think Serfas lights offer one of the better values on the market.

Velo Orange

Making the classic road/Rivendell aesthetic to a more realistic pricepoint for all us working stiffs.

Wald

Wire baskets. Simple and reliable, made in Kentucky for a hell of a long time. Good for around town or for the old “Wald-high-rider” touring bike modification.

Bikepacking and Touring Gear

We know a thing or two about riding to places with stuff. Traditional road tourists as well as bike-packers and gravel grinders will find a wide selection or rack/pannier type stuff as well as trailers, and soft bags for bikepacking. Arkel, Revelate, Ortlieb, Tubus, Blackburn, Nitto, North St. and more.

We also know about touring tires, touring wheels, dynamo lighting and other  esoteric disciplines. Come by and pick our brains on how to get dialed for your adventure.

Clothing Etc

We like to ride, look good and be comfy. Shoes and gloves from Specialized and Giro, clothing from Twin Six, Giro, Specialized and Sugoi.

Family Cycling Stuff

We stock trailers from Burley and child seats from Thule and Co-Pilot, and can special order longtail family wagons like the Surly Big Dummy and Kona MinUte.
